Hello peeps,

I noticed that the head rest at the back middle seat of my C-HR does not even go half way when pulled up. It clicks for maybe half an inch up, but if i pull it up a bit more, the head rest comes off the seat. I also noticed that the metal pole on the left side is rusty and there is a hole in the upholstery between the two metal poles and inside it have a small piece of rolled paper inserted in that hole. Is this something you would expect from a brand new C-HR? I only found out about it yesterday when I vacuumed the car. Please see photos and please let me have your opinion. I am going back to Toyota anyway because I am not happy with this.

Regards, Penyen

Simple it is not acceptable there should not be a hole in it and no rust at all. Or the chrome layer coming off that is what it looks to me.

I don't want to jump into a conclusion. I will speak to Toyota and hear what they have to say. Surely though, this is not a brand new standard that you would expect. It's a small thing, but small things matter when you're paying for the right price. Thanks.

Regarding that hole all mine headrests have it.
I think that's the way they are.
Ok so the hole is normal. How about the height of the head rest because i cannot get it halfway as it comes off the seats? The metal poles are shorter compared to the other two headrests at both sides at the back seat. Any idea?

So that means I have the holes too. Typical Toyota I suppose I can,t remember that I ever saw it on my former Volkswagen. But I must admit normally you don,t look at it I suppose.
