Hi All

Off to France shortly and was wondering if anyone new how to fit Eurolite Headlamp Convertors to our cars especially the ones with LED lamps. I remember someone told me they were still necessary.

Nothing in the guide or on their website.

Thanks in advance

Yes. If you look at the lens then you can see where the lights is directed to the left (in UK). I just stick two small pieces of black insulation tape (approx 3-4cms long) onto the lens at that point.
You can buy similiar (expensive) stickers from Halfords but they are universal fitting so are no better than bits of tape I find.

Hello there are generic headlamp pictures in eurolite instructions Iam sure I've seen one that matches.
Driving to the south of France in summer 2000 mile round trip, already worrying about the mad tolls.
Google eurolite search images

yep i drove to south of France and it would have been cheaper to fly to Switzerland and rented a car than pay the tolls lol

I believe you mean on the headlights' outer glass :) It would be too complicated to tape the lens itself :)
Yes I do. Sorry for confusion

On the tolls meant more about ten lanes going into one with not too careful drivers, and my beautiful car.

Thanks for all the advice. I had some spare Eurolites from a previously aborted trip and guessed where to put them.

Chatting to a friendly Gendarme who wanted to see what this strange thing was parked in his little hamlet, he was surprised I had bothered as the lights seemed in his words sur l'horizon.

I've looked through the answers here but haven't found any useful advice on finding out where to place the tape or converter.

I've looked at the headlights and the dipped beam appears to be diffused by a lens within the headlamp clustery thing and I can't see where to put the recommended square of black tape. Is there anyone who has used this method any further advice? TIA.
