Is it only my impression or this Toyota 4th generation Hybrid C-HR engine is louder on rapid acceleration, let's say from 0 to 70 km/h?

Previously spent 6 years with Auris HSD and it was more quite. Or maybe it's just different sound and I should get used to it?

I had a prius before and I would certainly say it is a more throaty sound - possible slightly harsher, but I woukd not say it is louder.

Yes, Alex you are right, agree on more throaty - angry, I try no to accelerate too hard, learning to drive in a different manner.
