Hi guys, I just got my CHR back from the dealership as I got my windscreen replaced at the begining of this week. Yes mine cracked too.

After driving to work I noticed something a little odd. When put in P for parking the car would normally engage the EBP automatically and an icon is displayed on the dashboard, now it does not engage the EBP and I have do it manually before putting the car in P mode or else if I won't the car will roll around a 1 foot (either backwards of forwards depending the street) before it's completely in parked mode.

Has anyone had an issue with this?

Re-calibration of what? Which sensor on windscreen is responsible for checking if the lever is shifted to P position?
I still think it was accidental "push and hold" while replacing screen and now all what needed is "pull and hold"

But EPB isn't based on sensors, is it? It just switches on in P and off in any other position.
After a windscreen replacement, I believe light sensor, rain sensor and camera has to be re-calibrated. Maybe radar, but doubt that.

To enable the automatic parking break (the automatic part, not just engaging), hold it in the up position untill there is a message on the screen between the dails. To turn it of push it down untill the message appears.
The car must be in the "ready" mode.

Go to the dealer to reprogram the EBP. It is 2-3 clicks in techstream. Trust me :) They accidentally change the defaults settings of EBP when they recalibrated the sensors. The EBP has some settings like auto enabling when you set it in P mode or auto disabling when putting the seat-belt etc. All this settings can be accessed and modified from techstream .
