Well, as a new automatic driver I had my first experiance of driving my C-HR is snow yesterday.
I would be interested to hear your experiences. Wheel spin and ABS st the slightest touch on accelerator or brake pedals. Radar off earning light came on. Parking sensors bleeping and flashing due to snow.

I am also new to automatic cars and I haven't given this any thought at all.. and we expecting snow next week, so I'll be following this thread with interest :) Chip, - which drive mode were you using when you experienced wheel spin and ABS lock ?

Apart from using ECO mode.... I have no idea what to turn off, - if anything, in snowy conditions. (maybe the parking sensor from your comments :) )

I do drive very differently with snow or ice on the road but I must admit I only just now realized you can't do that... drive differently... in an automatic car....

I've driven a front wheel drive automatic for the past 6 years with no issues, just need to be gentle. I've no idea how the C-HR will handle so I too am very interested to hear what it's like.

I had an opportunity to try the C-HR on Sunday in the snow before the snow ploughs came. I also wanted to try the all weather tyres. Apart from the park sensors beeping at the beginning due to the build-up of snow (should have cleaned them) the short drive was uneventful. The C-HR pulled away without wheel spin and climbed a couple of hills without a problem.
