Price in Finland will be 232,00 €. The pre-order for my Pearl is made :-D

At the other end of the scale there are some cheaper alternatives to protect the paintwork. I purchased some from this company (I have no affiliation to it). The transparent ones are easy to apply and are virtually invisible.

I managed to negotiate the sill protection as part of the package for free, bit of a bummer that they won't be available until July. I've asked Toyota to fix me up with temporary protection (my heels always scuff the sills). It will be interesting to see what they come up with.

Just ordered the LED ones. The plan is to wire them to the LEDs in the door panels - I will only need to trace the wires from each side and tap the positive to them with a clip connector.

I think there has to be a connector somewhere as Toyota has an original part like this.

Not really. Many of the accessories are installed by cutting wires and the illuminated scuff plates are not an exception. Unfortunately there is not installation manual for the C-HR, but I found one for Prius. It should not be very different.

Check out the LED footwell lighting installation manual, you'll find that Toyota take the power for that system from the left hand 'A' pillar, maybe that's your answer.

Are these original C-HR scuff plates? Do you have an example of what these look like? Our dealer didn't have any news about this. :roll:

So I would say they are official toyota parts - just not quite made it to the UK as yet.
