I'm just a tad confused here and can't find any definitive articles online, but I've seen a few mentions of the all-new '2018' edition of the C-HR. My paperwork just states C-HR so I have no idea what I have (I bought mine in November 2017). In case it makes a difference, I'm in the UK.

Don't know about the UK, but in the Netherlands they skipped the Premium edition. Part of the options are default on other (all??) models like BSM and RTCA, while other options, like LED are in option packages

It fascinates me how many different variants are popping up all over the world, and is frustrating that some things aren't available - like heated wipers in the UK. I SO wanted those, but nope! Not a UK option.

Heated wipers 🤔? You are joking why on earth would they be better than having a heated windscreen Ford style. That is the one feature I miss from my Fiesta. It was perfect for instant demisting.

When the wipers are in rest then part of the windows can be heated and I think that is what he means.
I wondering in witch country the CHR offer a system or similar like that.

Yes, this is the system I mean. It seems strange that, with all the tech built into the car, there is no windscreen heat option (and also no remote tailgate button).

Still wouldn't swap my C-HR for anything else though! :D

Most cars suppliers have country specific options. For instance very few fords are sold in Spain with heated windscreens, In Scandinavia Skoda offer heated windscreen and heated rear seats.
It's what it's required in the prevailing weather conditions plus local specification and laws, and of course cost and marketing considerations.

Heated rear seats is option here. Heated frontscreen is maybe option in Scandinavia? We also do not have the option to have headlight washer system like they have in other counries.

I've got heated windscreen part for wipers. Amazing what it does. I used to clean my E39 in the morning for 10-15 minutes and still lots of parts were left in ice, but with C-HR it takes ~ 5 minutes and all windows are clear and never have to pull wipers against their will :D

Well, "iACC (set speed to match RSA display)" - this one is completely useless, but I have a question... Does "This comes with an improved system unit" mean it's a hardware update, or it could depend just on software?

P. S. I don't think the initial topic question about 2018 model was on that :)

I have the dynamic and am so happy with it which means that in 3-5 years time when I think about changing it there must be significant changes for me to change. I don't see any point letting a car go for the same again when you get 5 years warranty. They are going to have to come up with something very tempting for me to change to "exactly same again".
I would love a T-Sport version with about 150 HP on a manual. Hope they do something as I kept my RAV4 11 years and could do the same again if nothing tempts me. I am sure they will keep freshening it up as there are so many other very good crossovers about.

i see that toyota have introduced a red edition in the uk which has
18" Black Machined-face Alloy Wheels (10-double-spoke)
• Intelligent Park Assist with front & rear parking sensors
• Toyota Touch® 2 with Go Navigation and enhanced features
• JBL Premium audio system with 9 speakers
• Standard Tokyo Red Pearlescent paint
• Black Bi-tone Roof
and is cheaper than a dynamic

To me the red doesn't look good, more like a Hyundai colour from 15yrs ago that doesn't do anything to accent the cars lovely lines :(
