From what I'm seeing from carwow and other places, Toyota is not offering to discount or offer any wriggle room on the C-HR book prices.
I was ready to smack down a deposit today, but was told that they wouldn't offer any discount, so I walked away.
There's no way I am paying full book price for a new car. I never have previously with other manufacturers, and have always been able to negotiate. But this particular dealer was unwilling to budge. Not good as the spec I want would come just slightly south of £30K.
They also told me that they only have an allocation of 16 vehicles per quarter.
I know it's an eagerly sought after vehicle, but I get the impression that the early adopters will get fleeced, and give it 6 months or so the dealers will start to discount.
