Anyone experiencing the DAB radio stations not showing? They show when I first start the car but if I switch off the car and restart shortly after the stations do not show and only come back if I press favourites or manual then go back.

FWIW- I don't have a built-in satnav but my DAB sometimes displays the wrong station playing. I asked the dealer about it and he suggested it was down to poor signal; I'm not so sure.

If the radiosignal from a station is out of range, the radio automaticly chose another station. Its by FM and DAB. So it works in my CHR. (I also have no built-in satnav)

The radio is not not retuning...it is the display that is not updating. So, I tune to Radio4 and listen. Touchscreen to change to Radio5- and the screen shows still playing Radio4 when it is actually playing Radio5. However, this tends to not happen if retuning via the steering wheel control, rather than the touchscreen.

I have similar problems. When starting the car most of the time the DAB stations are totally missing. Turn the audio off and on again they come back up.

Also had the display for the radio stuck on one artist/song showing for 3 days whatever station or song was actually playing. That problem cleared and I'm just monitoring it.

I rang Toyota as I can't do the software update as mine is a lease car so I can't register with my Toyota, but they say I have the latest software anyway, but I am not sure myself. Mine is running 6.8.1 I'm pretty sure I've seen others on here have updated to 6.8.2.

Thanks.

I'm struggling to get the dealer to understand that with my car being a personal lease, and not registered to me, I can't update the software myself as you need to be the registered owner to sign up to Mytoyota and download the software :x ! Doesn't seem rocket science to me to understand personally! But there you go.

Does anyone know if my car is running 6.8.1 would updating to 6.9.0 include any previous updates, ie would 6.9.0 also cover updates covered by 6.8.2 etc? Or would the updates before 6.9.0 also have to be done? Would be handy to know, as I think the question may blow the dealer's brain totally    !

My situation is the same. Bank owns a car and I'm just a user. Still didn't have any problem registering it on MyToyota and upgrading the software.

I believe you can upgrade directly to 6.9.0 skipping versions in between. 6.5GB of upgrade contains not only changes, but full software :)

@ROBBO - I am in the same situation but with a company lease. The dealer can, and should under Toyota policy, give you the code you need to sign up to MyToyota.

Whats the realation between good working off DAB+ and the softwareupdates?

its not the DAB that is the problem but the software displaying the lettering not updating itself on the touch screen so its software related,so could be also country /language related
