Shouldn´t be a problem. Just make sure that they put a screen with new specs on, if it's already available from production. Just ask them whats the difference between the previous one when you get then new one. If he knows the issue he will answer you properly otherwise they just will put ones in untill they will have the good ones. The dealer just need to put the effort in to go and get it's money from Toyota.

Rob, I think such topics should be locked
Why? It is a valid discussion and should be allowed.

I might concede that it should be merged into one of the other topics but that can have the affect of confusing the flow of the topic
If you locked it and place a note to one of the other screen topics hopefully people move to one of the
other 3 topic that already excist about the same subject.
It is a valid discussion but it splatterd all over this forum. So I don,t see a reason why it cannot been locked or merged
if possible (to the convenient of the admin or moderator).

Yes. Merging is one of the options. But such posts should be left to die or killed instantly :)
As holyhead explained and mentioned earlier - too many topics on the subject

If the cracks were caused by a faulty screen Toyota willl replace it free of charge. No need to involve your insurance company.
If it's stone chips it's all down to you.
Pop down to your local dealership and let them have a look.
