Has anyone replaced the amber front and rear indicator bulbs with clear (chrome) ones?

I ordered the clear indicator bulbs already but i am worried about getting can bus errors.
Not sure if it is only LED bulbs that can cause a can bus error.

You won't get any canbus errors. Certainly not with regular bulbs.
Also LEDs won't create any errors since Toyota doesn't use canbus for it's lighting.

Do you have links to what you ordered or brand as i ordered amber led from amazon but worked at double speed so returned them.
i am finding it difficult to find suitable led amber and stop lights for my new excel.

Xtec 585 WY21W Chrome Amber Indicator Capless Wedge Bulbs
Osram 581 PY21W Diadem Chrome Bulbs (Twin Blister Pack)
Got both from https://www.hids-direct.co.uk/

LED indicator bulbs need an additional small wired device in order to flash properly. You will find this device included in Japanese LED bulb kits for our car in Web sites like Rakuten. Too much wiring involved so i decided to go halogen for the indicators.

I will give up on led indicators i ordered from china some pre wired resistors kits but still did not work will have to make do with the Diadem bulbs.
Was successful with reversing led bulbs from OSRAM a great improvement.
