Yeah i heard that aswell i been driving 1.6 manual bima for 7 years and sick of changing gears ..specially in a busy place like londonKarmalakas said:From what I've read (not my personal experience) 1.2 manual is more pleasant to drive than CVT. But then again, I personally know lots of people who hate shifting gears all the time while driving in a city![]()
Really..great to hear mate.. ur enjoying ur 1.2 cvt ..cannot wait till i get mine deliveredAndries said:You have made the right engine/gear choice.
I find the CVT is better because it always takes the right gear in relation to the torque that is needed so you have always a good accelation. Especially in Sport Mode.
In practice, you will usually be a little faster than the manual. That's the experience I've got with my 1.2 CVT so far.
Great.. looking forward to recieving mine now!Pelforth said:Not sure on the merits of the 1.2 or the Hybrid but I'm completely sold on the CVT box.
It's made driving a pleasure again, especially in cities. Sport mode is very quick and the cars excellent handling only improves the experience. Yes it is a bit noisy on hard acceleration but I wouldn't go back to a manual any time soon.
I got to wait for mine for another 6 weeksLara* said:I love mine. I downsized from a Volvo xc90 and my C-HR is a dream. Totally smitten by it
I really hope you like it, I've just spent two hours in rush hour traffic trying to navigate the ring road around Manchester. I had my music on the USB and the CVT hybrid on Eco mode, I got 69 mpg and honestly felt so relaxed I was sorry to get home!!Thegreatt said:Great.. looking forward to recieving mine now!Pelforth said:Not sure on the merits of the 1.2 or the Hybrid but I'm completely sold on the CVT box.
