There does not appear to be a cut out notch to get a cable out when the armrest lid is closed. Has anyone tried to drill one out ? Seems stupid not to be able to get a cable out and you have to leave it open.

There's a gap all around the lid more than enough for the cable

I think you can easy take out at least 50 cables and keep the lid closed Though it won't look very nice
