Hi Rob,
TBH I don't think I'll be disappointed with the C-HR test drive as I've tested the Auris Hybrid and found that absolutely fine, TBH anything's better than the Nissan Leaf I own.

Managed to order mine on 4 Sept, with estimated delivery on 5 Jan.
How accurate that date is I don't know and I certainly wouldn't put any money on it.
Had a Prius for the last 11 years and it still runs great, a shame to get rid of it really but there are a lot more toys in this one.

Yes, just went in to make general enquiries and was told that I could order there and then.
Whether or not the order is actually sent on before October is anyone's guess though.

Went in 19th September and was told it could be ordered on the order system and was told may not get any information for a couple of months which seems strange unless they get order confirmations on the 3rd October when pre order is supposedly launched.

I note the prices have been released for PCP by Access Toyota and some brokers are offerring PCH too. It would be worthwhile to see what sort or deals people have managed before I place my own order. It will helo other too.

Had a long conversation with one of the Toyota guys there and was told that Dealers C-HR demos should be coming through from 15th November and Customer orders from the 3rd January.

Those of you who've ordered already, what kind of deals have you managed to negotiate? I would expect with it being in the pre-order phase that negotiations are limited.

At 5.9% APR on PCP I may have to look elsewhere. A quick quote from my local dealership brings up the following:

C-HR Icon Hybrid w/ Metallic Paint
List price - £24,139.99
Deposit - £4,500
36 Payments - £299.03
Final Repayment (GFV) - £11,677.50

(Total charge for credit - £2,802.59 )

If I do go decide to go ahead I'll be ordering before a test drive to ensure delivery as early as possible. As others have said, my dealer is taking orders with a deposit of £1,000 ("after agreeing terms and price") with the option of a full refund after test driving

My order is shown as full price at the moment but expect that to change when I have to go in to finalize things as I'm paying outright not 5.9% :S

Mines on pre order I'm sure I'll get a great deal on accessories when they release them once car has arrived which I find stupid.

Was wanting to order a Hybrid Dynamic Premium through company car leasing scheme with Lex but they have just quoted me a ridiculous £570 per month contract hire (48 months with servicing). That's £100 more than I expected. Groan. A Golf it will have to be.
