We have had our CH-R since May and it has been used during daylight for most of the time and rarely when it is wet.
We are not precious about it but that is how it has worked out.
Recently using the wipers at night and in the rain, visibility is awful, it looks like the whole screen has either a film over it or a ailt within the actual laminations/construction.
Have cleaned inside and out with good cleaner, no difference.
Anybody have a similar problem.
The screen has not had polish or anything put on it.
The fault seems to consist of many small bubbles or evidence of splashes that are only visible when the glass is wet and on close examination.

Nope. As I previously posted on the cracked windscreen thread this is the clearest windscreen I have ever had on a car.
I would however agree that there seems to be some kind of anti fog/smear film on the screen and it doesn't clear instantly unless you are travelling and have some wind against it. I have used a windscreen treatment however so part of it is a situation of my own making.

The severe symptoms you are describing however are not something I have personally experienced and have had no issues driving in the wet at night.

P.S Lived in Gloucester/Thornbury/Bristol briefly :)
