Ok so I picked up mine yesterday although almost walked away and cancelled the car.

I've been very disappointed with the customer service from the dealer. No paperwork until the day before I collected it, not returning calls when they said they would etc.

Anyway, arrived at dealer to collect and noticed they hadn't fitted the sports pack that I'd ordered. The leather seats were fitted but no sports pack. After complaining I was offered the sports pack at £350 or free servicing for the duration (4years). I opted for the servicing and am now happy with my car.

Not sure how that stuff works (waiting for mine, first time buying a new car) but what paperwork did you expect before the handoff? The contract and stuff so you could read through it all calmly at home?

I've had contract hire 3 times previously. Each time (two different companies) I've received a text after approx 4 days with reg number, paperwork to read through, forms to sign etc.
I got it all with Toyota the day before I was told I could collect it, then had to read it, sign it, scan it and send it back in a 3 hour window. Oh and also driving licence and make online payment for deposit.

Ah, mine's coming straight from the factory so there's no actual VIN yet. Should get the paperwork when the car's actually built. I did pay a small €400 'order' payment upfront though.

Mine was the same and I paid £500 initial deposit but would've expected some paperwork, VIN or reg number earlier than the day before I collected it.

Got no paperwork until I picked it up other than the agreement of purchase on the day I ordered it
