Just had a dealer on the phone...
He said they offer a free check off the car for the hybrid Chr...and all other Toyota hybrids...
Just to check oil , and the hybrid system! And car overall.
He said they would adjust the system if necessary after 1000km .
For maximum performance...of the hybrid system...
Has anyone had such a check.
Is it necessary? I was just told to get in and drive...

How dealer knows when you set 1000km on the dashboard? I made my first 1000 in 6 days. Did not got a call from dealer but was in for winter tyres setup on 1500km before 3 weeks.

No one called me in,but they did a health check when I went in to get the sill protectors fitted. They knew they would have to do that so maybe they just waited?

The dealer doesn't know how many K's on the clock,just informed me they offered this service for free and recommended it...

I got the first two services free as part of the purchase deal.
That will cover the first two years with the amount of driving I do. No doubt there will be "extras", just have to wait and see.

It is possible that is a new thing.
I picked mine last week and I was told by the dealer that I should come for a small inspection at around 1000 km, that will take 15 min and also he will come to do a drive with me to to help me improve my "eco driving " skills if i am interested in that.

Well if it s free and one can learn something,what's the harm...
No dealer told me how to drive economically/Hybrid...
