So today it's 1 year exactly since I become a Toyota C-HR owner.

I've covered 6592 miles, so far I've found owning a Toyota is just boringly reliable & stress free.

Only had one unexpected main dealer workshop visit for a replacement windscreen, I was on first name terms with the Peugeot dealer service department because I was there that often with my previous vehicle.

I'm really enjoying the boringly reliable Toyota vehicle ownership experience.

I'm a year in now and it goes for it's first service tomorrow. Really love my CH-R. Very happy with it all up to now.

Be interesting to see if your C-HR gets the DCM software update offered / performed while its in for service.

Just had the Toyota dealer on the phone trying to buy my C-HR back due to it being worth more then what's owed on it.

I replied I'm happy as I am plus I can't order a suitable replacement as C-HR now on factory run out - which surprised them I knew this information.

Must be the 3rd or 4th time since I bought it that they have offered to buy it back, they just want me to order a new car & tie me in for longer - not interested.
Sadly my C-HR is going. I'm trading it in for a Rav4. I need a bigger vehicle and there was no way of ordering one when I bought my C-HR. They gave me a really good price and although I'm sad to see my current car leave, I'm more than happy with the replacement.

You do know about the Rav 4 theft epidemic via CAN invader method?

It would be advisable to take additional security precautions as the standard Toyota anti theft system is easily defeated.

It's something I'll look in to thank you.
