Hi guys and gals, sorry for not contributing much recently, have had a nightmare few months with family issues.

Just wanted to say how impressed i was with my C-HR over the course of a slightly mad week at the end of June.

I had a family holiday planned, interrupted by a sudden funeral so needed to drive from Manchester to Kent, then from Kent to Gloucester then back to Kent and finally Kent to Manchester... madness really but needs must.

The car was brilliant, I just put postcodes in the satnav and went where it said. There were four adults plus luggage for a week and we were all very comfortable.

I set a trip meter before leaving Manchester and I did 1017 miles in that week with an average fuel consumption of 61.9 mpg.

We saw two accidents on the M25 in atrocious weather, rain so bad that the radar went offline for a few miles but the car never felt anything less than safe and solid.

So basically I'm saying I still like my C-HR, and I'm quietly adding bits and bobs of custom items that would make "ans" proud...pictures to follow :)

Hope you are all well and enjoying your cars :)

Sorry to hear about the sudden funeral but delighted you are still enjoying your car. I'm enjoying mine so much I am highly in danger of exceeding the contract hire mileage.

I've just done a weekend from Scotland to Kent and back. Nearly 1000 miles. Brim to brim 58.9 mpg at an average speed of 56 mph. This was my first long motorway journey; usually it's country roads and the occasional bit of dual carriageway. Very pleased with this experience. I think I'll be keeping this car for a couple of years now! :D

Thanks :)

Yes I'm almost halfway through my annual mileage and it's only just August, collected my car in April!
