Re: New C-HR Owner

We are collecting our new 2 litre Orange Edition next Wednesday. We are very excited. Currently, we have 1.8 Excel. We had a test drive in the 2 litre CHR last week. How do you use that S+/S- gears? It seems to be that the 2litre engine has this S+/S- gears. You move the lever to the right and can ...

Re: Radar warning light

It's happened to me once in heavy rain, soon cleared itself though. I also had the same problem with my previous car, a Nissan Pulsar, so it isn't just the C-HR that suffers from this.

Re: Sat nav - no live traffic information

I recently did a long journey using the car satnav, it did give traffic warnings and gave alternative routes dynamically as the situation changed (A30 closed). I had my phone plugged into the USB port on the dash, not sure whether it would have also worked via Bluetooth. Better than my orbits car wh...

Re: Rusty discs

I had a Prius as a company car, along with several of my colleagues. These suffered from rusting discs and I remember there being discussions between the lease company and Toyota on whose responsibility the replacements were, I believe that Toyota did accept responsibility in the end. I do make a po...

Re: Toyota Sefety Sense

If it was too wide surely it would brake every time it saw a car coming the other way?

Re: Front Seats

My Nissan Pulsar had height adjustable passenger seat, but we never adjusted it. My wife is happy with the height of the passenger seat on our 20MY Design. I would also like more thigh support on the driver seat, the Excel that I test drove had that with its electric seats but I couldn't go the extr...

Re: My First Toyota

I keep my keys in Faraday pouches at the back of the house, just in case. I can stand next to the car with a key in them and the car won't open. As the pouches stay hanging up all the time, I don't take them out with me, they don't suffer from wear and tear that they can be prone to.

Re: Sat Nav/Multimedia/Android Auto

TomTom still doesn't work on android auto, shame as I prefer their route guidance. I have used the Toyota navigation system several times and it's OK, also tried Google maps and but it doesn't have the guidance display between the speedo and power meter. It seems that it will happen sooner than any...

Re: JBL Navigation

I agree with the speed limit from the camera being wrong sometimes, mine has a habit of picking up a limit from a side road and showing 20 in a 30 limit, or NSL in a 30. It makes me wonder how a fully automatic self drive will work the limit of, my TomTom satnav used to think someone that I was on a...
