Waze will work on US models... Maybe also on Israeli models, but not on EU/UK models (well, not until the 202 model that is..)

Although I agree that the Touch 2 go system is not the best, I must say it works reasonably well, and combined with the mytoyota app even does a decent job at navigating. Sure its not very fast, and yes it takes a minute or two after start to get its destination from the app, but it does work and is...

Almost 3 seconds faster to 62... Thats a lot. Currently I don't really trust my C-hr's overtaking power (there is none...) but this version just might do the trick. Ah well...

Got my car 6 months ago. Drive it far less than expected (change of jobs...) so it now stands for a week quite often. Not a single issue, starts every time. No alarm system though That was sometimes the cause on the GT86 in the UK..

Biggest one for me is support for Apple Car play..., hence support for Waze, hence a really decent satnav system :)

Your smartphone usually is able to act as a wifi acces point . It will use its 4G connection to get on internet and its wifi signal to create the hotspot. It seems like your model (like mine) needs a wifi access point to work. Thats exactly what the hotspot function on your phone does. Be carefull, ...

Needs both I think. Bluetooth for sound (as usual) and in my case wifi hotspot for data connectivity. To be fair I never really tried without the hotspot connection, and the system seems to suggest BT might be enough
