If you can get in with the blade, holding the key against the start button should allow it to start (if the flat battery is in the key, not the car itself). Running a 2018 model myself, and even after sitting still for a week or 2, it starts just fine (no alarm system though...)

Its a bit slow in starting up, and yes Waze is quite a bit better, but then again, its not that bad. I use it in combination with the My Toyota app to set my destinations. As long as you give it a minute or two after starting, its fine...

Sounds a bit like someone forgot to add a final later of surfacing to the garage ramp. I never had that issue, not even with my GT86 (rwd, skinny tires...). If its a rental place, and more occupants have similar issues, might want to talk to the owner...

accupuncture needles work really well (I use em in my 3D printer to unclog a clogged nozzle). They exist in different sizes/thickness

Its normal, tries to get the engine up to temp, so as to avoid issues when start/stopping I suspect
