Re: Your experiences with CHR, I'm looking to buy 1.2

I bought the 1.2T Dynamic Blue as I wanted a manual. In sport mode it is nippy. Have a go in one before you decide. I never fancied a hybrid although I hear nothing but good about them. I am trading mine in come June for a GR Yaris for that real sporty drive as I want to get back to my time with hot...

Re: Speed Voice Warning

Yes it was a 30 zone. I knew the camera is often there but I turned a very sharp left corner to get on that steep but very long road. A bigger car behind was pushing me. within a 100 yards I saw i was over 30 and dropped down to 28 so I was caught in that first 100 yards. I checked my dash cam and I...

Re: Speed Voice Warning

Is that the navigation menu on the big screen. Just being caught at 36 and received letter - very upset as this is my first in 40 years driving. I forgot to put speed limiter on and the new camera vans now have a range of 1000 meters. I couldn't even see it on this very long road near me untill I pa...

Re: Radar warning light

It is the only time I have had that. In a heavy rain storm on the motorway. Never happened since so nothing to worry about.

He has produced hundreds of youtube clips and says it how it is. John Cadogan - autoexpert.com.au Well worth a watch as he is an ex auto in...

Re: Supercharge Kits

New GR C-HR on its way. I would wait for that and if it is anything like the new Yaris GR then it will be fun and made to do what you want.

Re: New owner

I am finding that mine hits the kerb nearly every time. Am I doing something wrong or is it a problem with this technology.

Speed warning sign red all of the time

Noticed recently that the camera on the screen correctly reads the speed signs as I pass them but now stays red even though I may be 10 or more mph below what it says. It used to turn white but not any more.

Anyone else had this problem?
I assume it might be a software issue.

Re: Winter Wheels

Look for some used RAV4 wheels as they are the same. I kept my set of winter wheels from my 2006 RAV4 with Vredstein winters on and I swap them each winter. Don't forget that the TPS valves cost a small fortune though if they are not already in. If they are, Toyota garage will program your car with ...

Re: What No Power/Sport Button?

Mine stays on driver mode when I start it which means one click to go into the three options then one up click then the final third chick to select sport. I can do it without looking now. Occasionally it isn't still in the drive mode and then yes, I do need to go through about 6 clicks but 95% of th...
