Re: audio is off on Sat Nav

Thanks wachyracer, but if you mean the loudspeaker icon on the right, pressing that has no result. I've tried adjusting the volume to the highest but that doesn't work. I'll try with it programmed for a destination - perhaps DutCHR that will work. I'm travelling tomorrow and Sunday which is why I w...

Re: Road sign recognition

I understand it perfectly well. It is just too wrong too often. If there is a road off to one side with a different (load) speed limit, the car sees the 'new' limit and shows that and starts beeping at you for going too fast, when you are actually adhering to the speed limit for the road you are on...

Re: Road sign recognition

It isn’t perfect but I find I can almost always get an accurate figure from either this or the sat nav. Eg the satnav will not tell you the speed limit on the motorway is reduced to 50 for road works, but this will. Sometimes the road sign recognition will see a sign that does not apply (eg on a sli...

they just are built that way, i.e. rock solid suspension.
No they aren’t. Witness several other posters on this subject.
It is just your opinion.

Re: Potential Company Car Replacement Advice Please

I think you had done a good bit of research there and it sounds like you just want me to confirm your choice. I dont have experience of tbe Corolla/Auris but I LOVE my CHR, so does that make me biased or experienced?! I say go for the CHR every time - provided you want a gentle comfortable ride mos...

Got my first long journey next weekend270 miles Manchester to West Devon. What sort of figures should i expect being 80% motorway?
It depends how fast you drive, but I would expect that driving between 65 and 70 I would get about 58mpg ( although it may display about 63)

The seat going down is a mall function.
I'm driving mine for 26 months now and since I found my perfect seating position, nothing had changed. I don't have to readjust my seat.
Me too.

Re: Thoughts after 22 months.

Thanks for this interesting observations, and welcome to the forum.
I wonder if your tailgate might be faulty as I find it easy to lift and put down.
Never had buzzers passing roadside boxes (unless passing very close)

Re: Thoughts after 22 months. Part 2.

How could I have forgotten? The horn is absolutely abysmal, sounds like Noddy's car, if you can remember that far back? For a car of this expense it is unforgiveably pathetic. Call me old fashioned but, I would be happier with a spare as standard. The tyre deflated warning light comes on every time...
