One thing for sure in the summer the A/C keeps car nice and cool
Did you try sitting in the back? It doesn't keep it nice and cool at all, but that's another topic ;)

Re: Only asked a question

Firstly, welcome to the group, Gastaz. Do keep posting. It is certainly easier to manage the forum if the thread titles indicate what the thread is about. You DID get an answer, but you may be aware that the windscreen topic was one of the very longest with hundreds of entries over years, so I am no...

Re: Help with activating texts please

Afraid I cant help with the problem, I am just questioning WHY you want to do this. Surely you are not trying to text while driving?!? (I hope). If not then you can just use your phone.

Re: PCS warning

I think this happens when something blocks the view of the safety camera at the top of the windscreen. It has happened to me in heavy rain (very heavy) and when frost was on the windscreen (and I probably did not scrape that area properly.) mjvdzwet reported there was condensation there. So check if...

They changed my keyfob battery (and charged £3.23 for the battery)
£2.99 for a decent quality 4 pack at Screwfix
That’s why I chose not to pay for another one.

Re: 2 year old service - recommended extras

Just had my 2yr service. Done in 2 hrs while I waited. I was not offered any of these extras. They changed my keyfob battery (and charged £3.23 for the battery) but ignored my 2nd key (which I forgot to take in). When I raised it they said I could buy another battery if I wanted to. Otherwise quite ...

Re: Slow/slipping clutch?

Hi all I'm new to auto matic driving but loving the new CHR. When I have sat in other autos and the driver has put his foot down on the gas the gears have knocked down and off it's gone. The CHR doesn't seem to have this and indeed when I have tried this there had been what sounded like a lot of no...

Re: Does the cruise control operate on a B road?

I’ve used mine a fair bit on all types of roads. As stated you need to pay attention as it’s a far less relaxing experience off motorways. I think the fact the car displays a disclaimer stating Mway use only should tell you the systems limitations. It appears that steering wheel input plays a role ...

Does the cruise control operate on a B road , I get a message that it only operates on motorways
Yes I use it a lot on non-motorway roads, but you need to beware that it can decide to slow up unexpectedly - eg a car parked in a lay-by, and can disengage if the car in front turns off.

Re: New owner - some questions...

How weird... Wonder why it's not activating on mine?? So what does the Hold function do that's different, exactly? Hi. I own the Hybrid so mine is different to yours, and the hill start comes on automtically. However, on my wife’s Aygo the hill start has to acticated as follows. Pull up on the hill...
