Re: Keyless fob distance from car not work ?

Personally I keep my keys in a Faraday pouch at home to prevent the relay theft risk. I don't want to disable the touch function as I do use that all the time, although I agree that it is a valid alternative.

Re: Battery Issues

I use an Optimate trickle charger for the motorbike which works well as long as you have access to mains power. If not you could use a solar panel to keep it topped up, it shouldn't need much.

Re: Battery Issues

Just had the flat battery issue on my just over a year old 2 litre, I've just not been using it enough for longer runs. Called out the AA who were prompt and started it immediately, apparently most of their call outs are to do with flat batteries at the moment. Showed me where to connect a jump pack...

Re: Disabling "Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist"?

On my 2020 model this stays off until I switch it back on using the steering wheel switch? This might be different in the USA though. Colin Correct, once off it should only come on when button is pressed again. Unlike "sport mode" or "hold" function who automatically turn off ev...

Re: Question Regarding My MPG

My 2.0l is showing an average of around 45mpg the moment, not surprising as it is only used for short trips to the shops at the moment. In the summer with a long trip and longer runs on holiday (remember them?) it went up to the high 50s and easily over 60mpg on more than one occasion. Still at leas...

Re: Toyota electric

I will change my C-HR in a couple of years time when the contract comes up, I like the idea of a full BEM but they are too expensive at the moment and the charging infrastructure still needs work. Three years after that the decision will be easier as hopefully the cost of BEMs should drop and the in...

Re: Your experiences with CHR, I'm looking to buy 1.2

It also depends on how you drive, a hybrid suits a more laid back style, the 1.2 a more sporty one. My C-HR is my second hybrid, the first was a Prius which was a company car. Several others had one and they were a real marmite car - I loved mine, others didn't. You need a test drive to check whethe...

Sorry to hear that, didn't the automatic braking work?
