Re: Toyota electric

I will change my C-HR in a couple of years time when the contract comes up, I like the idea of a full BEM but they are too expensive at the moment and the charging infrastructure still needs work. Three years after that the decision will be easier as hopefully the cost of BEMs should drop and the in...

Re: Your experiences with CHR, I'm looking to buy 1.2

It also depends on how you drive, a hybrid suits a more laid back style, the 1.2 a more sporty one. My C-HR is my second hybrid, the first was a Prius which was a company car. Several others had one and they were a real marmite car - I loved mine, others didn't. You need a test drive to check whethe...

Re: 70 or 50 mpg?

With mainly around town driving I get around 50mpg on my 2.0l model, on a run nearer to 60mpg. Best reading was on a short run of a few miles, mainly downhill where it read 99mpg +. I drive in normal mode, I haven't tried economy and I tend to enjoy the acceleration now and again so overall am happy...

Re: Toyota Icon 1.8L C-HR Hybrid 2017

Hi,
As is know an audible reversing sound isn't fitted to any C-HR?
The Icon does not have satnav unless it has the Tech pack fitted. Android Auto isn't standard on pre 2020 models, there might be a possibility that this can be added by your Toyota dealer, check with them.

Re: New C-HR Owner

We are collecting our new 2 litre Orange Edition next Wednesday. We are very excited. Currently, we have 1.8 Excel. We had a test drive in the 2 litre CHR last week. How do you use that S+/S- gears? It seems to be that the 2litre engine has this S+/S- gears. You move the lever to the right and can ...

Re: Radar warning light

It's happened to me once in heavy rain, soon cleared itself though. I also had the same problem with my previous car, a Nissan Pulsar, so it isn't just the C-HR that suffers from this.

Re: Sat nav - no live traffic information

I recently did a long journey using the car satnav, it did give traffic warnings and gave alternative routes dynamically as the situation changed (A30 closed). I had my phone plugged into the USB port on the dash, not sure whether it would have also worked via Bluetooth. Better than my orbits car wh...

Re: Rusty discs

I had a Prius as a company car, along with several of my colleagues. These suffered from rusting discs and I remember there being discussions between the lease company and Toyota on whose responsibility the replacements were, I believe that Toyota did accept responsibility in the end. I do make a po...
