Please make sure you change your one ASAP (or you'll just loose the battery!) and report back how easy? I had the remote battery replaced that I gave to the service department the other remote was at homebut the dealer gave me the second battery to repalce the one I left, towards end of year the ot...

I was offered the same at mine and Ans local dealer and even the service guy said for the mileage you've done there is no point doing it :D

Hi Karmalakes, I dd but it makes it sound such a hacking way to open it when you dont actually need an screw driver at all, on hybrid keyless entry fob just remove the emergency key then hold both pieces either side of the key fob aperture and pull apart then it's split in half take out the buttons ...

A few weeks ago my car stated low battery in key fob and as I was close thought I know as I have a good relationship with the dealer I'll get them to do it ( Unkown to me how easy it was for me to do it), done with in 30 seconds the cost was cough cough £8 my eyes started to water anyway today my ot...

That is just not on for a dealer to take your specially ordered car and put it in the showroom for others to touch and mess about with, never known a dealer to do that myself, personally I'd contact Toyota GB and explain to them what your dealer is upto and I'm sure they wont be impressed and get on...

Before I psoted I checked and Design it does not list on the summary whereas the Excel it does, checked the Icon and on the summary page of the Icon it doesn't state it you must have been lucky.
