Re: First MOT Thread

I think some people here think MOT is the first maintenance, MOT is an inspection they do to the vehicle to certify its safe to ride on public roads. I don't think they change wipers in MOT, Just saying as I lived in UK for a couple of years but don't know how many years since you buy a new car you ...

Re: Alarm Going Off Continually

Hey, Mine doesn't have alarm but there's a button on the roof that disables interior movement sensor, perhaps you could try that as it maybe cars passing by or a simple fly inside the car, doesn't cost trying. If still continues after disabling sensor then no idea how to switch off completely. Hope ...

Re: Battery resilience

You should be good, Just disable the smart entry to avoid the car allways searching for the key to automatically open the doors, this way car won't be using battery, One other thing is to make sure hybrid battery is left full (or almost full, with only 2 bars missing as to get it full you need to go...

Re: Trunk kit for spare wheel.

Bought the Toyota spare, true, around 500€ is quite expensive but after searching a lot, could only find just the spare Tyre with the bag for around 150€ but wouldn't be perfect as it is with the original, You could try making the thing yourself, Remove everything from bottom of trunk Cover the whol...

Re: Using an MP3 player

Why not just rip the cds to a usb disk? With mp3 player you'll have to use cable for charging and male cable to connect audio to car, USB disk, get a 32gb, they are very cheap now and really small, No cables, no charging, hassle free. Just an idea, of course if she prefers with the mp3 player, unfor...
