Re: Remote window close

There are about 40 "hidden" settings which you can access with Carista app and OBD adapter for example. You can open and close windows by long pressing remote. You can change lighting settings, heater/ac settings, cruise control settings to name a few. I was disappointed when i noticed there was no...

Re: Remote window close

Thank you guys,
Got in touch with Toyota U.K., waiting for their reply.
A little while ago I’ve seen someone mentioned an OBD device on sale that can program many things on the CH-R, but I wouldn’t want to pay for it and for the software for only using it once.

Show them the manual and point to where it clearly states it can be done.
Thanks for that Karmalakas, I missed this in the manual. They will now DOUBLE double check it and call me back. :)

Remote window close

Hello CH-R owners, So I read many times that the remote window close feature can be enabled by dealerships and many of you had it done already. Re: Toyota is so far behind on Android Auto and Apple CarPlay

Same here, I was well aware that the car didn’t have android/Apple CarPlay and it’s software is a bit sluggish and I still bought it. Yes I’m happy with the car and didn’t regret buying it, but it would be way much better it was supporting the above.

Winter tyres

What’s your choice of winter tyres? (If you swap them) I drive in London, but will be travelling to Europe with my family after Christmas by car and as far as I know Germany and Austria are pretty strict when it comes to tyres at the winter months, and of course safe driving is priority anyway. When...

Re: Media/Sat Nav Volume Control

Settings —> General —> Volume —> navigation volume. When the satnav talks you can also use the steering wheel volume control buttons, which is normally used for media volume adjustment. However, what I noticed is that even the satnav doesn’t communicate any instructions and I try to adjust music vol...
