Re: Hello

My C-HR space saver came with a jack that would not raise the car high enough to get the wheel on in the event of a puncture, luckily I did a dummy run to make sure all was well before having to use it for real! Fortunately correct C-HR jacks are available from the Toyota ebay official “store”, quit...

Re: Automatic car wash

For what it’s worth, my pressure washer came with an “under car cleaning nozzle attachment”, which is just a 90 degree angled nozzle for directing the flow upwards when the lance is put under the car. It is a Nilfisk, but others are available as they say, though they may not have that nozzle included.

Re: Winter tyres

The sensors are usually built in to the air valve on each wheel. Eventually the batteries will fail which means replacing the valve/ sensor unit. They seem to last quite a while though ie years rather than months! So just change the tyres over and leave the valves/sensors alone. I had a set of winte...

Re: 1st Service....Question?

The turbo charger equipped models, ie the 1.2T, do have a dashboard indicator of the distance to the next service/oil change as it is important for the oil feed to the turbo to be correctly maintained.

Re: About to place an order. Final thoughts.

I test drove a 1.2t also and decided that was the one for me. Since mine arrived, I have been nicely surprised by how lovely and quite it is while driving, I can only really hear the tyre noise, but it has plenty of power too, due to the turbocharger, which also surprised me. My economy is usually i...

Re: Puddle lights

When I was getting the recall done last week, I had a long chat with the salesperson who had no idea what “applicabilities” meant exactly but agreed the brochure is unclear and will contact Toyota to ask them to amend future ones. I believe he will but doubt if Toyota will change anything. It is cer...

Re: Clacking sound right hand side

Not so far.

Is your car very new and has always made the noise, or has it been quiet since you got it a while ago, and this is a new noise?

If in doubt about suspension or steering noises, ask your dealer to check it over.

Re: Puddle lights

Our September 2018 Design doesn't have them, unfortunately, although the Design does have "puddle light applicabilities". I have not tried it in the dark , but there are no lenses or light sources under the door mirrors which is where I believe the light comes from. Could be wrong about that though!...
