Re: C-HR Excel parking sensors
You can easily switch off the parking sensor bleeps - just hunt through the menus, when I collected mine I had to get them to fiddle around to switch them on. (Garages switch them off so as to not keep bleeping when close parked)

Re: Latest Map update 6.11.0
Thanks for that - once I copied over the folder's contents it worked perfectly. Is it worth updating anything else?

Re: Latest Map update 6.11.0
Can anyone help with this? Feb 2017 CH_R - outdated maps so downloaded the latest, expanded on a Windows 10 PC, new 16GB USB drive, formatted to FAT32. Copies the expanded folder over so in root of USB is just folder called 6.11.0WH Go to car, power on, plug USB drive into front console (only place ...

Too polite!
I've tried the sat nav and the little woman that lives in there is far too polite - she's spending more time saying 'please' than anything else - whilst this is probably silly question - is there any way of delving into any secret menus to stop her being so polite? I'd rather her be abusive.

Re: Cosmetic repair?
So - are all CH-R's self healing paint? does anyone know if these cosmetic repair firms would refuse to sort a claim? As mjvdzwet says - I can find policies just as good but well under half the price - seems a good deal but not if they refused to pay?

Cosmetic repair?
The stealer wanted to sell me wheel cover and cosmetic cover at £500 each - hmmmm - online seem to be under half that. But - I see the cosmetic terms say self healing paint not covered - is a standard CH-R self healing or not? I've asked Mr google but its not really clear. After scraping the alloys ...

Re: Should I buy a CH-R?
Thanks for that - apparently toyota has a problem with entering reg numbers at present and you have to use the VIN. They've just told me mine so I can hopefully set it up.

Re: Should I buy a CH-R?
Initial thoughts - great drive, same economy as old auris but quieter and feels more 'refined' - just getting to grips with it, should I have expected Inchcape selling an 'approved' used car to have updated the maps? (Showing 2016v2) The my toyota portal won't accept the reg number so I can't even d...
