Re: Google services expired ???

They didn't like it or they used that excuse as a leverage in negotiations. It was either customer's pressure either they got a good deal. But it's there and I was reading this morning about the look on 2020 RX in Canada...how good/customized Android Auto looks: https://www.cnet.com/roadshow/news/wi...

Re: Which Drive Mode Do You Use

I used to use Eco quite a lot on my previous Yaris Hybrid. For a simple reason: I couldn't feel any difference. 17 months ago, when I moved to C-HR Hybrid, difference was clear! Eco is lazy borderline bearable. Normal - 90% of time. Sport - when a bit of responsiveness is needed. It's not like Sport...

Re: Spring 2019 map update

Have you tried the MyT Toyota app? It has been updated recently and allows you to use your phone to search for a location then send it to the car, been using it this last week and its really accurate and much quicker than the now dead Google POI option. see: https://www.toyota-europe.com/myt Looks ...

Re: Spring 2019 map update

@IceColdCrash answer exactly how I would! @Alexr - when I need to search for a POI, built-in ones are most times returning nothing. At least in Ireland. I wasn't even waiting for it to return no result, I was clicking on Google POIs as soon as I was getting the option to. And I was always getting th...

Re: Spring 2019 map update

"This feature is not available". And that's annoying by all means!
Searching for POIs from Google Maps was the next best thing to having Android Auto.
I'm pissed off! I'll complain to Toyota Ireland as soon as I have time to create a video on their crap!
Signed: a really annoyed user!

Re: MPG - for those of you who have the Hybrid

57.94 mpg is about the same I'm getting on mine. Just that I'm in Ireland and that 4.8-4.9. I'm never carefully when fuel pump stops, so I can consider what dashboard said, a best 4.9l/100km a totally decent fuel consumption! Funny fact: I selected 57.94 mpg and Google converted in in american ways....

Re: C-HR Dynamic Hybrid air-con cooling efficiency

If you don't have the AC on Eco, what you're describing doesn't sound really "cool". It is a larger space to cool and my kids are not really impressed how fast the car cools down, but it gets cool down eventually. The front seats are cooling down fast enough for my taste in my C-HR. Even last summer...

Re: Navigation is not available on your system

Depends on whether you actually have the navigation sftware installed, not on all versions. You nailed it! Button is there even if the specs are not coming with navigation. Just simply annoying, but they are reducing the costs by installing the same button layout. My previous Yaris had the same "pr...

Re: MPG - for those of you who have the Hybrid

This topic frustrates me even more this world doesn't want to agree on one measurement! Last week I had to rent a Jetta in California. 200 miles later it was showing 22.7mpg. I grew up with l and km. Can't easily transform it. But it sounds super bad! And it sounds so good to know my CHR does at bes...
