Re: Sat Nav/Multimedia/Android Auto

TomTom still doesn't work on android auto, shame as I prefer their route guidance. I have used the Toyota navigation system several times and it's OK, also tried Google maps and but it doesn't have the guidance display between the speedo and power meter. It seems that it will happen sooner than any...

Re: Is the touchscreen a mobile phone?

Something funny in 2020 C-HR while running Android Auto - if you want to scroll the songs on the display, it let's you for 2-3 seconds, after that it forces you to take a break. I was driving and my wife was trying to find a song in the playlist. She was a bit annoyed, but she understood the reason....

Re: Bluetooth frozen

Other than doing a factory default as a last resort?
I can't find another reason. Especially since it's impossible to find an explanation for all those options. But it's there for people to dig into it.

Method 1: Recommended if you can turn on the head lights manually: Turn on «IG» and wait for complete start-up. 1. Press and hold the «INFO» button 2. Flip the headlights quickly 3x on and off Method 2: Recommended if you cannot turn on the head lights manually (automatic light sensor): Turn on «IG»...

Re: Hi, my first Toyota is the C-HR

Simple test to check if it has navigation module is to press Map button when your phone is not connected to the car via USB. If it says navigation is not available or similar it means it's like mine, without that module. Some users from UK are actually having navigation installed on their Orange car...

Re: Hi, my first Toyota is the C-HR

Sweet! Enjoy it!
I'm curious: does the car in Greece has built in navigation?
In UK Orange one has built in Navi along with AA.
In Ireland, at least mine, does not include navigation.

Re: Faults with CHR

Yeap, it requires you to turn it on every time you turn on the engine. Sport mode is totally useless in the city. It makes little difference on highways. But I found it extremely useful for taking over. It was useful for 1.8, it's still useful for 2.0. Totally agree, it should be an option that shou...

Re: Front Seats

I’m 6ft and 15 stone? You're in the decent league! Look, my wife is 1.70 and 45kg, but posture she's holding is actually a big deal. She's suffering but she's learning how to seat. I'm not suffering at all, and I'm just 5cm taller and double her weight. But I learned hard way years ago how to seat -...

Carpet here too. Already installed by the dealer.
I will buy rubber once current ones wears down.

Re: Sat Nav/Multimedia/Android Auto

TomTom and Sygic ... they are compatible and available for Apple Carplay! I didn't knew that! I guess Apple had to do that, since their Maps is terrible. And not to let Google get the spotlight. Hopefully Google will also do that sometimes in the future. A truly offline navigation makes so much sen...
