Re: Apple carplay support

Signed (and donated). With there being no sensible place to mount my phone (currently on the holder that clips to the hazard light button: therefore obscuring both that and the climate controls…), and being disabled, CarPlay would make my life both safer and easier. [Why on earth the Aygo is the onl...

Re: Replace the plastic joke pollen filter

Really sorry not to report back earlier: been rather ill, and not used the car much. Good news is… filter fits fine. Bad news is… seems to make very little difference to PMs 2.5 and 10, as well as NO and VOCs (although obviously not testing under lab conditions; just following the same route). Bit d...

Hi,
I have had to set up a new provider for this. The newsletter is now working again but you'll need to re-subscribe from the homepage again.

Thanks
Thank you!

Has anyone tried using premium unleaded in the hybrid and noticed any difference in mpg/performance ?
I have, for three tankfuls… – and no difference, either way. (BTW, I always use Shell.)

70 - 75 mpg on motorway trip of 100 miles. 4 up with luggage. Careful driving did that.
Brilliant! And well done! Made my day… – thank you. :D

Did you get this sorted "homeward", as it's something I want to do. But i need to make sure it fits and is better function than the one in the car.
Sorry; not yet! Family matters have been a bit fraught. Hopefully this Wednesday or Saturday. 🤞🏼 Keep watching this space! 😉

Hi,
Thanks. Looks like an issue with the provider and I need to switch to someone else.

Leave it with me and I'll post an update when I've been able to do it.

Thanks
Rob
Thanks, Rob… – on behalf of everyone.

Re: Replace the plastic joke pollen filter

Just bought this for about nine quid: https://ebay.us/2mBTHr It’s a Blue Print Pollen / Cabin Filter ADT32552 ADL – and it claims to be an activated carbon one. According to the spec sheet of ‘Applicable Vehicles’, it fits my Hybrid (I triple-checked the measurements…), as well as a boat-load of oth...

Re: MPG - for those of you who have the Hybrid

I also use Road Trip on my iPad and iPhone. After 3,000 miles (including an 800-mile trip to, and in, the northern Lake District (just over 200 motorway miles away)), I am averaging 59.95 mpg (just 1 mpg better than my partner in her 8,000-mile Yaris Hybrid)! In case anyone is interested, I tried Su...
