Re: 2 year old service - recommended extras

They should replace the key battery as part of the service so it may have been done without you realising it. I'm going for second service next week and asked dealer specifically for battery replacement. They said they can replace for a price. They don't do it unless asked. Of course refused to pay...

Re: 2 year old service - recommended extras

Update : over the last couple of months I've had increasing problems with the key they supposedly changed the battery in, sometimes the doors wouldn't open even though standing right by the car, and sometimes when trying to start the car the message "Key not detected" came up. I've now changed the b...

Re: FItting a Dash Cam

I bought a dashcam last year from Halfords and paid for their fitting service - they ran the lead under the trim down to a spare slot at the back of the front passenger footwell.

Re: 2 year old service - recommended extras

Just had my 2yr service. Done in 2 hrs while I waited. I was not offered any of these extras. They changed my keyfob battery (and charged £3.23 for the battery) but ignored my 2nd key (which I forgot to take in). When I raised it they said I could buy another battery if I wanted to. Otherwise quite...

Re: 2 year old service - recommended extras

I had my air con (serviced?), pressure tested, drained, refilled plus anti-bac treatment at ATS for £40 in October, that was on my jag that at 800g probably uses twice as much gas and lubricant as my C-HR Personally If you use your air-con a service isn't really required until the 4yr mark, all IMO...

Re: 2 year old service - recommended extras

Thanks everyone, that’s settled it I won’t go for the air con service, especially considering my low mileage!

Has anyone actually had this fuel system cleaner on any Toyota hybrid? Have you found it improves MPG or performance?

2 year old service - recommended extras

Hi all, My C-HR is 2 years old this month, so had it's second service this week. Service was all fine with no issues, but with the following recommendations : 1) Air con service @ £199 2) Fuel system cleaner @ £20 Is this just my dealer trying to un-necessarily squeeze more money out of me, or are e...

Re: Outside Temperature Sensor incorrect

Is there a way to make the temperature display bigger? Particularly in bright light it’s very difficult to see right at the top of the display!
