Not receiving daily posts

We haven't been getting daily posts from the Forum now for over a week or so - has anyone else been similarly affected?

Tried to sign-up again but it returned an error and said our email addresses were already on the system.

Re: Flat battery!

Would endorse 100% the use of a battery conditioner/charger as mentioned above. Have used one (by Optimate) for the last 18 years. You can pay huge amounts for a CTEK one but Lidl sell their version for around £15; just as good, in my opinion. I have one as a back up.

Re: Toyota Dealers

Re: the wiring harness recall - four and a half hours, really? Had ours done last week and including changing the cupholders, two puddle lights and a wash it didn't take anywhere near that long! From what I've seen of the wiring harness 'repair' I'm sure I could have done a much better job, probably...

Re: Cup holders and other stuff.

Re: Replacement Windscreen

"calibration is done at the dealers said he would need the car for two days ,"?

Autoglass at Romford replaced the screen and recalibrated it more or less while we waited.

OK, it took a couple of hours but not two days.

Re: Replacement Windscreen

Autoglass changed our screen and recalibrated the camera. Not all their sites can do the calibration, though.

Ours had to go through the insurance as it was a stone chip not the long-standing Toyota issue so we had to pay the excess fee but that was all inclusive.

Re: Engine buzzing sound

If the car has been running for a period of time, as you say, might it be the fan cutting in (and out)?

Once the noise begins is it constant?

Re: Crack appeared on windscreen today

The recalibration on ours was included in the Excess to the insurance co.
