Re: No Electric Drive

If you had no warning lights then i am guessing the battery didn't kick in because of certain conditions? Maybe it was too hot outside and/or something was blocking the air vent below the rear passenger seat?

Toyota factory rear windows tint

Does anyone know if the rear windows are tinted glass or is it just a tinted film from the inside of the rear windows? I think i remember seeing a post where someone complained there was an air bubble inside the glass. I want to install something like a sunshade in the rear windows and if it is a fi...

Re: Oil change

Which Toyota 0w 20 oil did your dealer suggest? There is the Advanced Fuel Economy (AFE) one for they hybrid and then there is a version specifically for turbo engines which you should use ideally if you have the 1.2T. If they use AFE then you can get it from ebay for something like 40 pounds for 5 ...

Re: Cabin filter

I also have an infant on the back seat. I saw MANN filters but looked at their Frecious plus range. I couldn't find one that fits our car. I ordered a Bosch filter from Japan which looks similar to the Mann Frecious plus (3 layers dust+carbon+anti allergic). https://minkara.carview.co.jp/userid/2772...

Re: Cabin filter

It is just a simple part that you can change in two minutes.
For a replacement aftermarket filter, you can order one that fits the latest prius (ZVW50) from Japan.
Denso and Bosch both make filters for our car in Japan.

Re: Cabin filter

The 1% filtration makes you wonder if the filter has been fitted correctly to the car from the factory or not

Re: Replace the plastic joke pollen filter

i guess the difference is that when you are stuck in traffic for 30 minutes with the windows close and a diesel car in front of you is not the same with walking down the street.

Re: Replace the plastic joke pollen filter

What worries me is that a few Prius owners in the US say that the carbon one is cheaper than the pollen one and that the car comes with the carbon one from the factory. Is it possible that the carbon one was tested and had the 1% filtration?
