Hi all,

This might sound like a strange question, but has anyone else's C-HR dropped to the ground?

My ground clearance went from 15cm (when new in October) down to 11,5 cm.

I've done nothing to the car (except drive it for 11k miles).

My dealer said this is normal, but I had a look at other C-HRs driving around and mine definitely seems lower...

Mine measures 12 cm from the front plastic flaps to the ground. It's covered 12,000 miles. Ground clearance at middle of car is 20 cm.
This seems normal according to this Youtube;

You shouldn't ground the flaps as the wheel is so close unless you are on very bumpy road. You might scrape them parking perpendicularly close to a pavement...

The height in the middle is 11,5 cm in mine (so it's dropped more than I thought)

I have to take mine off-road to get home and the flaps had to be taken off as I was constantly grinding them off.

It's at a garage now as my backend went wobbly.

Thank you. Now I understand.I know how to measure ground clearance but I didn't understand what those "plastic flaps" do in this situation. I think the measurement should be done under the suspension of the car?

Of course. If 10cm = measurement A and 12.5cm = measure B, then A should be equal to or greater than B. Otherwise, the front of the car could break. Sorry my bad English. :(
